I was out of town and just not checking up on my subs, but I don't really know what I'd do in your situation. I think it's terrible that her boyfriend knows about her weight issues and even went on to suggest he found another woman attractive. I think that men don't really understand how toxic weight is to a woman... I don't have internet at home right now so I'm stealing it from the neighbors!
I think her boyfriend isn't good for her and she needs to break up with him, and as much as she needs your encouragement you can't do it all yourself she needs to see a counselor because she needs professional help as well. If her parents really know they should have done something by now.
@ShrinkingBeauty07 - Yeah, I think what I said earlier was wrong actually - her parents know she used to be borderline anorexic (she ate in large quantities but only veggies and worked out several times a day obsessively), but think she is over her weight issues now (like I thought). So I don't think they know she is bulimic now. I don't know if I should tell them or not. I mean, I know I probably SHOULD but I promised her I wouldn't tell anyone... I don't know.
I just read it, I was out of town for the weekend. I'm sorry, I really don't even know what to say. I've never been in that situation before. I think all you can really do is be there for her, and be her support and try to encourage her to seek whatever support she is comfortable with. Really, just try to be her friend. Sorry you're in that position hun, I know it must be hard. <3
